DEAR FRIENDS
I USED YOUR SOFTWARE TO CREATE A PHOTO GALLERY FOR A NEW FAMILIAR WEB
SITE. (USING DREAMWEAVER) IN MY CP ALL WORKED OK BUT WHEN I UPLOADED THE
PHOTO ALBUM TO THE SITE, I CAN'T SEE ANYTHING - EVEN THE PICTURES IN
THE COVER PAGE OF THE GALLERY. COULD YOU PLEASE HELP ME TO SOLVE THIS
PROBLEM ??? I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO IT.
THANKS A LOT

Hi Ruben,
Can you provide a link to your website so I can have an idea of what's
wrong?
Thanks,
GreG

Why did you save it as a web
archive with the mht extension?

All you should do is copy the "My Documents\httphotos" folder to your
website As-Is. Can you try that?

Thanks!

Hi Greg... I'm having the same
problem and need some help! I want to embed my gallery as html using
Site Spinner. Works GREAT in the Site Spinner Preview, but once
published, all links are broken. I've copied the httphotos files to my
web folder as "httphotos" as perscribed above. What am I doing wrong?

I LOVE this app and really want it to work...

Thank you!
Julianna

Hi Julianna,

I don't know Site Spinner... but I checked your website and I can't find
any httphotos folder.
For example, http://www.juliannamcduffiepottery.com/httphotos/ doesn't
exist.
What you could try is to upload the whole My Documents\httphotos folder
to your website with an FTP client like Filezilla (free).
On your website, create an httphotos folder (or other name if you like)
and copy the content of My Documents\httphotos into it.
Once done, I can help you to make your frame point to it correctly.

Let me know,

Thanks for getting back with
me... you may have caught my site while I was monkeying around with
other options (and having the same problem, I might add!).

Here's what I've done:
1.) Created 9 galleries. Saved the .htt file extensions and resulting
images to httphotos folder. Saved Project to my hard drive.
2. Copied httphotos and all folders/images to my web folder.
3.) Re-named the html index to "indexhttphotos" and edited the header to
personalize it in notepad.
4.) Opened my web project in Site Spinner (it's just a decent WYSIWYG
editor).
5. Created an I-Frame for my /gallery page, pointing to
"indexhttphotos".
6. Added page entitled "httphotos" (Should that be "indexhttphotos",
now?) and copied the code from the "indexhttphotos" html.

Still getting broken links. I can see the outline of the gallery,
though. I'm sure that I'm missing something ridiculously simple, and I
thank you for your time...

THANK YOU!

Oh... I promise not to touch it
this time until you've had a chance to see! Here's where you'll find
the I-Frame:
<www.juliannamcduffiepottery.com gallery="">

And the index page I just added (not that I'm using it? As I'm using the
I-Frame pointed to the "httphotosindex" html in my web folder?):
<http: www.juliannamcduffiepottery.com="" httphotos.html="">

Hi Julianna,

At step 2, you say you copied the httphotos folder and all its
subdirectories to your website.
Where are they? In which folder on your website?
If you would have just upload the httphotos folder to your website
without renaming it, I assume it would be there:
http://www.juliannamcduffiepottery.com/httphotos/
but it is not.
Can you check that?
Thanks,
GreG

I *finally* got the files
transferred, thanks to your patience and help... MUCH APPRECIATED!

And again, I LOVE the gallery you've created. Having multiple galleries
from a main index is *perfect* for me.

Grazia!
Julianna
